The crawling stage

It’s been a month and a half since my last post.  I’m so sorry!  Lots has been going on in our household.  First off, I moved offices and I’m now working at the Dominion with KW Luxury International.  I’m still selling real estate, same as always, I just have the perks of working with the second largest real estate company in the nation now!  Ten Dominion Drive, which is the sales pavilion before you enter the Dominion, is my new address so stop by and say hi!

Carter weighs almost 23 lbs now and is learning to crawl!  He conquered rolling over and now scoots himself to where he needs to be.  If you put a toy on the other side of the room, he will find a way to get it.  He’s making me laugh because for some reason, he will go into a plank position and hold it, while trying to make his way across the room.  Our days are limited before we are at the full out crawling stage.  Help!!

Our little guy still smiles at everyone and is very ticklish.  Under his arms, on his belly, behind his neck; all these places make him squeal and giggle when tickled.  I cannot get enough of his laugh, so I admit to tickling him every chance I get.

Carter now eats pureed veggies, fruits and meats.  He’s quite the eater, polishing off two large jars of food at night and washing it all down with a full bottle.  He has been going to bed around 8pm and getting up at 7am.  I love this new schedule!!

Carter started going to a new daycare, Lighthouse Children’s Learning Center, about a month ago.  The daycare is run out of a small home in Boerne, so Chris drops him off and usually picks him up.  They only have three other small children, so Carter gets lots of one on one time.  His girlfriend, Cameron Keller, also goes to Lighthouse!

We spent Labor day at Lake LBJ with lots of friends and Carter took his first boat ride.  The boat quickly lulled him to sleep, but I was impressed that he didn’t seem to mind his life jacket.  The lake was fun and I even got to ski on the still morning water.  What a treat!!

Glad to report that all is well here!  We’ve just been busy working and enjoying life.
